Travelling Tips for Women
........................................................................................................................................................................................................................

This isn't the ultimate guide for travel packing but it may be useful for women to fit that extra pair of heels in your luggage bag, so read on!

Packing Your Travel Wardrobe

The 10 Basic Pieces

1. Pants - slim cut or wide leg

2. Long skirt

3. Seamless undergarment

4. Sleeveless top

5. Simple cut shift dress

6. Accessories

7. Tailored jacket

8. 2 pairs of shoes - for day and night

9. Cardigan

10. Long-sleeved tunic top  - for comfort on the plane

Other Clothing Tips

-If bringing a cocktail dress, line in from top to bottom with tissue paper, and fold the shoulders and the line of the dress. This will enable it to keep its shape. Tissue paper can be stuffed into the arms of a sweater to prevent the sweater from losing shape. This can also be done to shoes as well - just stuff some into the toes of the shoes.

-Storing delicates in nylon mesh laundry bags help protect them. Socks can be rolled up and used to fill the gaps in your luggage bag.

Bringing Your Essentials In Your:

Carry-on Bag

Pack only necessities like comb, travel sewing kit, medicine, make-up, valubles and travel documents. An ideal carry-on bag would be one that fits the following dimensions: 9" x 21" x 13".

Tolietry Kit

Skin care products, prescription medicine, contact lens solution, and first aid supplies can be kept here. Toiletries and make-up should be packed seperately into waterproof zippered bags to prevent seepage.

Medical Kit

Here are some items that can be packed in a medical kit:

Plasters

Paracetamol

Vaseline

Nasal spray and antihistamine

Tweezers

Sunscreen

Laxative

Diarrhoea pills (e.g. Imodium)

Melatonin (for jet lag and promotion of sleep)

Antacid

So remember to use these guidelines the next time you pack, and you will find it to be less of a hassle, and you can spend more time preparing yourself to enjoy your holiday instead!
